Cloud9 Training Grounds is excited to announce a scholarship for women in gaming!
Training Grounds, in partnership with AimLab, is excited to announce our Women in Gaming Scholarship. This scholarship will provide access to one of our 6-week camp programs, free of charge! While research shows that all teens play games at an equal frequency between the ages of 13-18, women are still often outnumbered by their male counterparts in the competitive scene. At Training Grounds, we aim to provide an avenue of support to women who aspire to play video games professionally.
To address this challenge, Training Grounds seeks to provide opportunities for women to develop their gaming skills within an inclusive community built on trust, respect, and gaming excellence. We believe that Training Grounds provides an opportunity for anyone to apply their abilities and hard work to improve not just as gamers, but as people. This scholarship program seeks to promote women retention in eSports and serve as part of Cloud9’s commitment to inclusion and diversity.
